Developed by transition experts Nancy Schlossberg and Stephanie Kay, the Transition Guide is utilised by organisations and individuals to better navigate unique challenges, mitigate mental health risks in the workplace, and increase levels of performance and retention. The unique approach encourages organisations and their people to systematically navigate change, and provides them with the tools to do so effectively.
Once identified, these factors can be explored and built upon, to create practical, sustainable strategies and skills that a client can utilise as they journey through periods of change – now and in the future.
The Transition Guide report provides an overview of the individuals unique:
Situation - the considerations for each individual as they navigate the existing and new circumstances.
Self - the knowledge, traits and abilities that influence how one adjusts to change.
Supports - explores the help that is currently available at both home and work, and how it may help the individual navigate through change.
Strategies - the 'go-to' coping methods for navigating through the transition, and continuing to manage the change longer term.
