Pam Armstrong she/her
Research Assistant/Placement Student
Pam (she/her) joins us as a placement student from the Masters of Organisational Psychology at Deakin University. Professionally, she has more than 20 years in industry and 10+ years transitioning into positive psychology where she has coached, counselled, project managed and led individuals through significant change.
Her passion is for uncovering key drivers for individuals in transition, fostering confidence, success, satisfaction and developing programs/areas which meet values led key objectives. She has explored the practical applications of psychology by telecounselling at Post and Ante Natal Depression Association (PANDA) and interning at various clinics.
Organisational psychology seemed a natural fit given her business background and experience and she has almost completed her studies (after a very long journey of studying part time, working and – as a solo parent – raising four children).
She also currently lectures at The Cairnmillar Institute in Organisational Behaviour. Outside of work, you will find Pam sharing time with her four adult children, attending live performances, or walking her Groodle.
